REUSE, RECYCLE, REINVENT
Recycling things is like magic that turns ordinary things into extraordinary.” to make children aware of the uses of waste material and to give them a lesson on reducing ways to save our future, as a part of CCA activity the Best of Out of Waste Competition was organised for Classes VI to X on 6th July 2024.
Little hands and imaginative minds came together in a constructive burst of energy to participate.
Fantabulous ideas were demonstrated using eco friendly waste materials like newspapers, rope size, cream sticks, shoes, shoe boxes, Tetra packs. Carton boxes. Jute materials. Students prepare very creative and innovative models and art items.
The objective of the competition was to create a love for the environment by making the best out of waste with the help of recyclable things. The 3’Rs’– ‘RRR’ namely recycle, reuse, reinvent were a part of the waste hierarchy to protect the environment and conserve resources through a priority approach. Values like preservation, recycling, conservation, reduction, reuse, are imbibed in the young hearts and minds, demonstrating this noble act of caring for our environment.
We were glad to see the enthusiastic students to turn scrap into useful and beautiful articles. The creativity and artistry of the children were highly appreciated.
