In the extraordinary commemorative year of our school calendar, we added extra brilliance to the festivities with the much anticipated Inter – house dance competition aptly named “Sayyandi Paadam”
The event was organised by Mrs Rekha and hosted by Titans House, mastered by Mrs. Kapardhini and Miss. Tabassum. The Event was graced by the esteemed presence of distinguished judges Dr. Monica Pradeep, dental surgeon, Mrs. Annusha P, interior designer, Principal, Mrs. Rama Devi Perni, Vice Principal, Mrs. Supriya Sahoo, Coordinators Mrs, Sujitha, Mrs. Sowjanya and Mrs. Saritha, Teachers, and students were given a warm welcome.
The event commenced with lighting of the lamp by dignitaries, symbolising the illumination of wisdom, rendition of school choir set the lifting mood for the occasion. The competition was held in three categories. Round 1: siri siri muvva, under the category of classical, Round 2: Re la re re la under the category of folk, and Round 3: tip tap toe under the category of western.
The vivacious performers took centre stage, setting the auditorium ablaze with the remarkable and captivating dance performances as we celebrate this monsoon. What better way to mark this momentous occasion than through the medium of dance – an art form that beautifully embodies grace, expression and cultural heritage.
Principal commended the exceptional talent and dedication of students showcased, underscoring the performances, ‘high quality and creativity’. Vice – principal showered accolades for their outstanding performances, expressing immense pride in our students. The final judgement of the judges was declared. Their appreciation and blessings for talented performances added a sparkle to the event. Their unwavering dedication and hard work shone brightly throughout the celebration, leaving an indelible mark of excellence in artistry.
The Inter – house dance competition “Sayyandi Paadam” was not just an event, but a celebration of our school’s legacy of nurturing talent, fostering creativity, and promoting unity. It served as a fitting tribute to educational excellence, setting the tone for the years of brilliance and accomplishment.
