“Celebrate Friendship Day with A Twist: Join the ‘Friendship with Nature’ Class Wise Competition”
Neo Geetanjali School is embracing the spirit of Friendship Day this year with an inspiring theme: “Friendship with Nature.” To celebrate, the school has organized a series of class-wise competitions, each designed to encourage students to explore their connection with nature and their friends through a variety of creative activities.
Grade III: Friendship Greeting Cards
Students crafted colourful and imaginative Friendship Greeting Cards. These cards featured designs inspired by nature and had exchanged among classmates as symbols of their bonds. The cards also had been displayed in a special exhibition to celebrate the students’ creativity and their appreciation for nature.
Class IV: Friendship Bands and Bracelets
Students engaged in making Friendship Bands and Bracelets using natural and recycled materials. This hands-on activity will not only allow students to showcase their crafting skills but also emphasize the importance of environmental sustainability. Each band or bracelet had come with a personal note explaining its connection to nature and friendship.
Grade V and VI: Creative Writing – Poems, Short Stories, and Songs
Students were tasked with writing poems, short stories, or songs about their experiences with nature and friendship. This activity aims to inspire students to express their thoughts and feelings through creative writing and music, deepening their understanding of both their friendships and the environment.
Grade VII-X: Power Point Presentations on Environmental Topics
Class VII-X students prepared PowerPoint presentations on various environmental topics, including wildlife conservation, climate change, and sustainable practices. This project had encouraged students to research, organize, and present their findings in a clear and engaging manner, promoting awareness about critical environmental issues.
This initiative at Neo Geetanjali School aims to develop creativity, teamwork, and environmental consciousness among students, aligning with the broader goal of building stronger connections between people and nature.
