Neo Geetanjali School, Pragathi Nagar, celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm and a strong commitment to environmental conservation. The event was aligned with the global theme “Inspired by Nature, For Climate, For Our Future”, encouraging students to become responsible stewards of the environment.
As part of the celebrations, students participated in awareness activities promoting sustainable living, greenery, and environmental responsibility. A unique sapling exchange initiative symbolized friendship and a shared commitment to protecting nature. Students of Grade X also took part in a tree plantation drive across the school campus, reinforcing the importance of creating a greener future.
The school Principal, Mrs. Rama Devi Perni, distributed saplings to students and encouraged them to nurture and care for them. Addressing the gathering, she emphasized that every sapling planted today is a step toward a healthier, cleaner, and more sustainable tomorrow.
The event successfully inspired students to become young eco-warriors and highlighted the importance of collective action in protecting our planet for future generations.
